Well I would like to introduce you to our Island Ministry. It is based from Llwejje Island in Lake Victory. We have a church of about 50 people and primary school of about 210 children. The ministry has been going for years 
with WOMF. A couple of years ago I asked a dear Ugandan friend of mine to go and help oversee the island ministry there. Well Sylvester Achilla is not one that was brought up around water. Matter of fact he is a Karmojong from the far north of Uganda. He was raised to be a cattleman not a fisherman. He has become a fisherman of men.
Without any questions Sylvester boarded a boat and went to the island. He has done a great job. Since his arrival he has built up the local church and moved out to other islands to help start and support churches. We currently are in partnership with 15 churches on the islands. He has a heart to help the disparate people of the islands. They are true fisherman and live a rough life.
Sylvester and the churches have been holding medical outreaches and training seminars for the island pastors. It has become a desire of Sylvester to open a center for ISOM Bible College in the islands. The material is video based and one of the projects I was able to complete a few years ago was the translation of that material into Luganda, a local language.
To be able to start the training school he need a TV and DVD player. The total cost would be $250 to start this new ministry in the islands. Sylvester is a graduate of ISOM and had been a facilitator for us in our Masaka Bible College using ISOM. So he is very versed with the material.
